Fernando disproves one thing; that Lotito does raise salaries and offers contracts at a time WHERE PLAYERS CAN SIGN FOR US.

Possibly the only contract extension I have seen under Lotito's reign where a player hasn't fucked us around. He was offered a good economic deal at a good time and he agreed to it very quickly.

Want to see him sign a new deal in 2015 wearing the captain's armband...

Oh how I hope reports are true. Sounds like he genuinely wants to stay here. It would be brilliant to tie Muslera down to Lazio till 2015, and by that time he should be captain.

No one has said that he signed the deal. It was only a rumour that Lotito will offer him this new 5 year deal.

Nando deserves respect for how well he did against Inter. Never gave up IMO. Hope Lotito sorts his contract out fast!

I think terms have been agreed.

He is waiting until we are mathematically safe before he actually signs. I read a direct quote where he said that he will put pen to paper before he leaves for the World Cup with Uruguay.

Super Muslera will sign his new contract and then he will leave to join up with the Uruguay side.

Berni will play this week I think. The club intends to use Berni as no.2 next season and find new clubs for Carrizo and Bizzarri.

I like all of that. Hopefully it all works out.

I wonder if there is any club willing to pay what Lotito asks for for Carrizo (the 10mil he cost us)...in any case it is a good plan to extend with Nando and go for Berni as 2nd choice...

River Plate want him back, if we can't get the money, we should try and take a quality player off them. What sort of talent do they boast at the moment??

It will be difficult to sell off Carrizo and Bizzarri, but both have attracted interest from Argentinian clubs so there is hope. I don't think Zaragoza will take up the buy out clause as he hasn't featured much in the second half of the season, although I am confident they will purchase Eliseu.

As for River Plate they have some players who could be of interest to Lazio, namely Buonanotte, Abelairas and Cabral.
