definetely agree, please consider that the pitch is ruined. we need a good pitch in order to benefit from pandev and zarate fast breaks. i'm very happy for yesterday result, but now we have to mind torino pitch.

| Bainchi will be out to revenge , but if we played it well, with some tactical changes we can secure a big win, hopefully 3-0 again, the important thin is not to conceive any goals, and make the goal diffrence bigger for us | |

| i saw one of their games yesterday, i think thier shortcoming was long passes behind of their defence, they overweary several time, that we can do this good with long passes of ledesma & speed of pandev, zarate & foggia, i think we need ano other who have good long passes with brocchi & ledesma in mid |

| Toro aren't a top side but they certainly aren't bad either. This season I expect them to avoid a relegation battle.
Its important that the defence plays well, because with Rosina and Amoruso running around there, and Rolando Bianchi to finish the chances, they can certainly do some damage. Bianchi will have something to prove to Lazio.
I'd keep the same defensive lineup that played against Fiorentina, Radu-Cribari-Siviglia-Lichtsteiner. That backline looks the goods. Just need more of the same from the likes of Mauri and Foggia and we will take 3 points imo.
Don't forget that apart from the Cagliari game, our away record over the last season or two is poor, and we need to turn this around to reach the top 4. The Milan game is forgivable but a loss to Torino certainly won't be.
FORZA LAZIO!!! | |

| I always had sympathy for Toro, due to an old friend living there and being a hardcore Toro fan, and guiding me through the city, living then near the old Communale and visiting Filadelfia, which was a very strange but beautiful experience... and also the Juve dislikes ... his father was one of the only taxidriver in Torino not driving a FIAT but a Peugeot But in Sunday, there's only 1 thing that counts... a Lazio win ! | |

| Toro will be without Aimo Diana and probably Alessandro Rosina.
Diana is suspended while Rosina is in big doubt through injury, keep up with that news.
It'll still be tough of course, but this is good news for us.

What: Serie A, Matchday 5 Who: Torino vs Lazio When: Sunday 28th September 2008, 15:00 (CET) Where: Stadio Olimpico, Turin »Comments (5) Print This Story Send To A Friend Contact Us galleria zoom Torino will take on Lazio in what is expected to be a very open and attacking affair in Turin. The Biancocelesti are flying high as they sit in second place with nine points and Torino will want to continue their good run of results as they want to get themselves out of the relegation race as early as possible.
Torino
The Granata have had a fairly decent start to the Serie A season, even earning the praise of president Urbano Cairo. Torino have five points from their first four Serie A matches and it is the manner in which they gained them which should please fans the most.
Despite the loss against Inter, the Granata have taken points off three of their relegation rivals while playing attacking football. They trounced Lecce 3-0 on the first matchday, but also obtained key draws at the Stadio Granillo and Stadio Bentegodi against Reggina and Chievo respectively.
Former Brescia and Levante coach Gianni De Biasi has taken a very positive approach this season, something the Torino faithful are not necessarily used to. In fact they even caused Inter some problems, scoring as well as hitting the woodwork against the champions.
Rolando Bianchi is leading the line in a bid to restart his stagnating career. Combined with the experience of Nicola Amoruso and the creativity of Alessandro Rosina, Torino can expect plenty of fireworks and goals this season, although probably at both ends of the field.
Lazio
Lazio have begun the season in fine fashion, currently sitting in second place after winning three of four games and looking much better than last season.
It seems president Claudio Lotito and coach Delio Rossi have uncovered a gem in Argentine Mauro Zarate. The former Birmingham City player leads the scoring charts with four goals to his name already and has formed a devastating partnership with Goran Pandev, who has three goals this season. Once Tomasso Rocchi does return, he may find himself on the bench if these two continue in the same vain.
The Biancocelesti were absolutely magnificent in their 3-0 win over Fiorentina, making up for the 4-1 loss to AC Milan last weekend. Lazio ran the proceedings easily, and it seems the midfield duo of Cristian Brocchi and Cristian Ledesma have developed a good understanding.
Rossi needed this kind of start and will be pleased he is no longer under-fire for the time being. If he and Lazio continue their good work they will compete for a Champions League spot, something that seemed impossible based on the results of last season.
It is even possible that Lazio could become the better team in Rome once again if Roma cannot recover from their lacklustre start to 2008/09.

TEAM NEWS
Torino
Gianni De Biasi will have to do without infrequent Italian international Aimo Diana, who picked up a late red card for dangerous play in the 1-1 draw with Chievo.
Torino only have one injury, but it is a significant one in playmaker Alessandro Rosina, who was injured in the loss to Inter a week ago. He will be replaced by former Lecce player Elvis Abbruscato in a supporting role behind Rolando Bianchi, who has two goals to start off his Torino career.
Probable Starting XI: (4-3-2-1) Sereni – Pisano, Di Loreto, Pratali, Rubin – Zanetti, Dzemaili, Saumel – Abbruscato, Amorouso - Bianchi
Lazio
Delio Rossi’s side are clicking and have no suspensions to worry about. However, they are without three of their midfielders, making that department relatively thin.
Ousmane Dabo is a long-term absentee and both Simone Del Nero and Matuzalem will not recover in time to take any part in the match. Young Frenchman Mourad Meghni has completely recovered but will start on the bench after Mauri and Foggia impressed against Fiorentina.
Probable Starting XI: (4-4-2) Carizzo – Lichtsteiner, Siviglia, Cribari, Radu – Brocchi, Ledesma, Mauri, Foggia - Pandev, Zarate
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Torino
Torino brought in Amoruso and Bianchi to bolster the attack and they have certainly done so. The two have developed a productive partnership and combined for three goals so far.
Bianchi has a point to prove after Lazio decided not to sign him following his loan period last season. He’ll enter a personal battle with Zarate, to show Lazio that they made a mistake.
Lazio
The future of Pasquale Foggia looked rather uncertain in the summer, as it appeared Lazio wanted to loan or sell the player and Foggia himself wanted to leave. However, he ended up staying in Rome.
The winger played against Fiorentina mostly because of injuries; yet he was among the best on the field for Lazio and has won himself a place in the starting line-up again. It may finally time for Foggia to fulfil his talent.
PREDICTION
The Biancocelesti are on a relative hot streak and although it is never easy to win in Turin, Lazio’s quality should be able to overcome Torino – especially with the way they are clicking right now. Torino will need to be at their best to secure a draw from this game, but I don’t think they are there yet.
Ok so they will be missing Rosina and Diana, we'll probably have the full line-up. It should be an interesting game to watch, hoping for some links.
