Dopo cinque anni nel campionato italiano, Valon Behrami lascia il Belpaese. Il calciatore elvetico - già di proprietà di Genoa, Verona e Lazio - ha firmato oggi per il West Ham. La durata del contratto è di cinque anni, e l'investimento della società londinese è di circa 5 milioni di sterline (ovvero 6,5 milioni di euro). Behrami ha dichiarato: "Sono felice di giocare nel West Ham e nella Premier League, è un sogno che diventa realtà. Dopo gli Europei ho parlato con la dirigenza e mi hanno espresso il loro interesse per me. E' stato importante parlare con tutti e capire i piani per il futuro: è stato qualcosa che mi ha fatto scegliere rapidamente per il West Ham

Darn, was hoping we could somehow work something out with him and he would stay but i guess it was not to be. He became one of my favs and i think he still could have contributed a lot to this Lazio. Oh well. Considering he could have used the FIFA article and we would have got peanuts, 6.5m Euro is not so bad.

It`s not that Behrami dont use article 17 the truth is that West Ham dont want to use article 17

Well well well...Valon Traitor has gone to a EPL yo yo club for around 5million...

Good luck to him..He is not a Laziale..Hopefully that should give us some funding to definitely secure Fernandez and a Central defender and then I would say we have had a great mercato..

Good riddance. I got a better idea, why not use this 5m to finance a new deal for Pandev? Ledesma can leave if he wants.

All the best Valon.... I will miss him in a Lazio shirt with his surging runs around the pitch but at the same time he did not leave us all too way unfortunately but still I wish him the best in the EPL.

At least Lazio got a fair price for him and I also think that the 5 million could be well spent in making new deals with key players such as Pandev and also towards acquiring a central defender for the squad.

as much as Valon was my favourite foreigner at Lazio...... I can't wish him too much luck because of the way he left
