I hope he will play a superb Euro08, then the 'bigger' teams will add his price up. He deserves to play on a 'higher' level, and if we can seal a 'good' deal, then we can not hold him at his current wage.

Me 2, it's an insulting situation and not just for him...I am surprised that we've some good potential in our squad with a guy like Lotito running it.

A few days ago he scored for Switzerland against Slovakia by the way.

it would be disastrous. In stead of improving the club with good players, we are going to lose one of our best players.

Article 17 is going to kill football, espescially smaller clubs who rely on transfer income. We should have been able to reconstruct a large part of our team with the money from Behrami's transfer which is a shame.

After reading this Interview back in February with Behrami, I will respect any decision he makes whether he leaves or stays.

Behrami said that he respect the team and the fans a lot , and he will not use article 17 when he leaves the team

If some player dosen't want to be part of Lazio then he should leave. No point of having unhappy players. Behrami could be replaced.

I still have hope that Valon will stay with us next season. There are not official news that he bought out his contract so I'm still believing...

I don't think he's worth that much. I think 7 million is a more accurate figure.

Valon was purchased for over 6 mil while in Serie B.

He is now worth at least 10 mil.

He's worth around 1.8 million euro right now

Lotito: Come And Get Behrami
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has put Valon Behrami up for sale despite reports claiming the player would not be sold.

The Swiss international was outstanding for the Biancocelesti last term and he has attracted the attention of several top Serie A sides including Juventus, Fiorentina and Palermo.

Reports in Italy claimed that Lazio wanted to hold onto the player as they look to strengthen for next season but Lotito has revealed that Behrami could go.

“There are players who are not for sale and those who will be sold,” Lotito told Violanews.

“Behrami is one of those players who will be sold but I have not heard from Fiorentina and Corvino has not called me up regarding the player.

“Fiorentina are an important side who are strengthening their squad and when they want a player they will get him.

“If they are interested in Behrami then they should come forward.”

The Aquilotti are currently bolstering their side for next season but Behrami is heading for the exit door with Fiorentina, amongst others, likely to come knocking following Lotito’s revelations
