We should win this and this kind of matches if we want to book a place in Champions League spot.
Only teams I accept to lose points at Olimpico , are Milan,Juve,Inter vs., not Lecce or that kind of teams.

Lecce were expected to be the weakest of all the promoted sides but so far they've been the best. 7 points, they are level with merda. Their system to survive is simple, win at home and try and get as many points away.

We ssaw against Inter they played for a draw. It took til the 79th min for Inter to score and they only won 1-0.

I was reading an interview with their star player Fabio Caserta, and he said don't expect Lecce to attack Lazio early. They're going to defend as hard as they can with about 7 men behind the ball. An early goal would be really great. If we can score quickly, that leaves them no choice but to come at us, and from there, well we are a lot better and should win comfortably.

the longer the game goes on though, the more risk of a big upset.

We must win these games in order to stay on top, cant wait to see Rochi+Pandev+zarate up front

...for some reason, I hate when we play on Saturdays, especially at 18;00 CET.

A tough game should be expected as Lecce have put together a good squad this season for Serie A and are doing quite well in the league with 7 points. They defend well like Atalanta and as mentioned earlier, Inter barely scrapped through them at home. These are the tricky games that Lazio must win in order to get a high position in the league. I think it will be a difficult game and they will give it their all. Stendardo should start for them so that will be interesting indeed. Hopefully the team is in good shape for this game and all the players are rested and fresh to do battle after 2 tough games against Torino and Atalanta respectively. Lecce shouldn't be taken lightly as they have quality and experience but I feel that Rossi will have the boys motivated well once again and I feel good about a good performance and quite possibly full points!

shouldnt underestmate teams like lecce they have the same right to be in seria A as we have im expecting a very differcult match but hope we win

Agree w/ the rest of you lot. Must win. Must secure the 3 points. Not only that, but this is a match where not only should we NOT under estimate Lecce...we should ALSO come out guns blazing. It's at home, they're a weaker side, and we're in excellent form. We should not let Lecce control this game at any given point. I'm sure Rossi has it under control, but I'm expecting to see some goals and some great attack and some good defense.

An early goal is the key to these 3 points. We need to make hem open up, otherweiss it will be tight and with time passing we will feel stressed. But I am hopeful as our attackers have been so succesful recently...

About Lecce game. Lazio don't need any tactics to smash that obviously poor squad.
Beyond that its going to be training game, that will build up stronger confidence, winning spirit etc. I'm more interested about Stendardo's game against his colour and to scan his loyalty.One symbol-one colour-one flag

I beleive we won't have problems with Lecce,we must play cool at home,let's win this one to stay on top where we belong!

I think we shouldn't underestimate Lecce that way... We should play our good football as always but not underestimating the opponent.

i dont think we should expect a win tbh becasue like in said lecce have the same right to be in seria A as we do they played brillient against inter an were very unlucky not to get a point so guy dont think the match is a full gone reuslt it will be harder then the fiolentina match i personly think

Ok, I understand it like this.. When Lazio played pretty badly last year he wanted to go away.
now they are crushing, and i think that he sees that has made a mistake and is saying pretty words. I'ts obvious that he would like to come back.. Loyal football player should follow the team spirit, he should play with same enthusiasm when
the team is losing and winning. It's not about money, its about respecting the team history..

Defenitly, on paper we are much more stronger than Lecce

To be honest, I will keep my eyes close on the likes of Napoli, Udinese, Rioma, Fiorentina, Palermo, and Genoa (I excluded Sampdoria already) as they are our main rivals for CL or UEFA spot for the meanwhile as it is still too early to judge where we will end in May 2009.

the most important thing is the 3 points regardless of how many goals we will past Lecce, but lets not forget Mr. Mario Beretta (current Lecce boss and former Siena coach) who upset us many times in the last 2 years once he was Siena coach (3 draws and 1 win in his account Vs Delio Rossi).

As guys said before, an early goal will open floods against Lecce!

This is not the case. Stendardo always wanted to stay (atleast he never said he wants to leave at the and of season or sth like this..) but his bad relationship with Rossi (we all know that Willy isn't the only one who doesn't get on well with our mister) didn't allowed him to stay.

Now back on track. Rocchi is not called up for the game once again, so we have to wait another couple of weeks for his return. Matuzalem, Firmani and Del Nero are out too. But also there are good news, Cribari will be able to play tomorrow. And more.. Inzaghi and Dabo is ready to play, so maybe no more Makinwa or Manfredini
