With regards to sorting it out, I don't think there is much to do. With Al Sadd it should be a matter of yes or no. The lengthy negotiation should be Zarate's contract which Lotito says is pretty much ready.

Exactly, at least that is better than nothing. I always questioned Lotito's ethics and what not, but I do think he is a good businessman, so to not sign Zarate would be insane because he has 'profit' written all over him.

Guys lets be real here...If Lazio doesnt sign Zarate, all laziale fans around the world will tear down Rome, and hunt for Lotito's blood. He has become all that we wanted...and he has star quality written all over him..he's price will skyrocket...and he will be a great player for us..

Ricardo Vaz Te - What happened to this guy had so much talent..only 22?

Juanito and Edu - Talented Betis servants..32 and 30 respectively

Carlos Kameni - 25yr old Cameroonian Keeper...so much experience started so young...

De La Pena - hahaha we paid a fortune for him and we could get him out of contract! hahaha that would be a cop out...

on the GK issue - Cech and Reina made stupid mistakes so we should not blame our GKs

I agree about the above, Reina and Cech, Cech was horrible the othet night. But we need two centre backs and a winger, tie up Zarate, Pandev and Ledesma and i will sleep happy at night again, at least for the summer months.

Ledesma, Pandev and Zarate are a minimum of what needs to be done ahead of next season.

I expect these players and an extension of the matuzalem loan + a high quality central defender.

In other words .... for very little money we could have an amazing squad

Yes, and with a bit more maturity and consistency in performance who knows where we could finish

I think we need to prolong with Foggia as well, but also the players you guys mentioned previously. He can be a key player the coming years and he holds enough quality to be a superstar and an influential player in any team in Italy.

More important that new acquisitions is to make sure our most influential players currently in the team stay. That is the only way we can comepte with other teams, and it also gives a certain feeling and passion for the club...

I agree with you too Cash. Players like Foggia need to be signed on with longer contracts pronto!

I think we dont need first team players we have a good team and we have good kids to I think that lazio need to sell cribari , siviglia , belleri , manfredini , inzghi then we buy a good hot prospect center back and a midfielder like Cigarini or we can call up cinelli from the Primavera squad we also have good defenders Cavanda Faraoni Tuia . we have primavera top scorer Mendicino too when i see him play against liverpool i take a good impression of him and there is kozak .Then we use clauses to buy our best players Matuzalem and ZARATE .Also Lazio need to renew contract of de silvesti , ledesma , and especially FOGGIA . Last thing i think that radu plays best as a centre back not a full back i think that rozhenal and him make a good couple . SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH

y we take a keeper we have 2 good keeper muslera and carrizo . Last year muslera was not good now hes good y we cant do the same with carrizo .

If this turns out to be true then Carizzo will be remembered as the biggest disappointment in the last decade whilst not being given a proper chance. Wow.

I'm not too disappointed, Carrizo got on my nerves with his childish moaning and Bizzarri is a great keeper. We can use Carrizo as a great bargaining tool to sign a player or 2.

Well if we load him of to let's say some Primera side we (Lotito) could try and bargain into some young prospect + some €€€€

so , carrizo will be loaned out or sold ?

At seasons end, Lotito should have a really good look at the teams which have been relegated and try get some players from there for a cheaper fee. There are some quality players in the relegation battler teams both in Serie A and in foreign leagues like La Liga.

Andrea Cossu of Cagliari is available on a free at the end of the season.

Miroslav Stoch, the young 19 year old Slovakian, of Chelsea is also available at the end of the season. I don't know if they intend on extending his contract or not. I saw him once or twice over the last few months. He looked promising. Short and very, very fast and speedy. More of a right winger which would be beneficial for Lazio. Just a thought.
