We don't need Lodi so that is why we did not buy him. We got a big enough squad as it is. We need to buy first and foremost a centrel defender and then secondly a midfielder. That is it.

We also got to get rid of players that will not be featuring in the coaches plans.

I get you Taib, Lodi wouldn't be a necessary signing but he'd add quality that a lot of the deadwood doesn't. I know we've got to get shot of these sometime but at the end of the day, Maki and Manfre won't even been in the squad so we may as well forget about them and improve the squad of 20 or so players that actaully feature. Money wise, well we could've swapped Maki etc. for Lodi and helped both parties. If we've got to pay them anyway, we may aswell loan them out until their contracts are up (anyone got any ideas on the contracts of the forgotten few?)....

Yep, but our priorities are a centrel defender. We got to get one. We are not exactly flush with money, after spending close €30 million, to sign players in positions we do not need. Like I said, we got to buy a centrel defender and maybe a midfielder. Get rid of the deadwood as well. All else is irrelevant.

idk if this is possible but, swap maki and manfredini for lodi, let them keep (own) maki and manfredini forever, and give us lodi on loan for 2 years with option to buy =] gets rid of deadwood, adds a better sub for 2 years, if he works out theres the option, otherwise ship him back

id ratyher swap pandev fgor d agostino and try to keep ledesma

I think Ledesma will stay and we only get Canini and put end on this mercato. Lollo is already sold and only one with ???? is Pandev. If we don't deal* with him till winter we WILL lose him for free.






*deal means to sell him, swap him with another player or keep him.

Fiorentina qualified for CL and now they might have the cash for Ledesma, if they want him. Their president even expressed his liking for Pandev, but said that Fiorentina have a limited budget and can't expect to bring top class players.

This will be a real fun 3 days.

the problem is... Fiorentina said that they will try to get Miranda if they get into CL, and now they got it, Miranda would go there (and we'll lost hope to get him) and Viola will be out of cash because Miranda's big transfer fee... so they won't try to catch Ledesma

I just hope everyone gets a move on!

so i think the scenario is gonna be like this . ledesma stay , and we'll only get either canini or rever . but i'd prefer canini instead of rever . the reason is because canini knows serie a more than rever , canini and ballardini knows each other well and they have worked together. about rever , he's only miranda's back , and i think he needs time to settle down in italian football first... so i think we should go for canini :)

Fiorentina looking for Pandev..

Bolstering their squad for the Champions League would be great for them..Gilardino, Mutu, Pandev..Very impressive line up..

They are attempting to use Zdravko Kuzmanovic as a make weight for the deal..

For me this is brilliant...He is 21...tall, strong, can score goals...has already played 20 games for serbia..

I am all for this deal..this greatly strengthens our central midfield..

Sevilla are hot on his heels aswell..

d aggostino will be very good sign,our middle will be one of the strongerst in italy,cannini - a lot of rumour but we need the official sign(last 3 days of mercato).

Don't know about the strongest in italy....i would give that tag to either inter or juve...

we won't get D'Ago..its too late in the mercato to get him...juve tried and tried and lost in the end..there is no way we will get him..

Best thing we can hope for is Ledesma to come back in the squad...

Therefore, we have ledesma, Matuzalem and hopefully we can offload Pandev to Fiorentina and get Kuzmanovic..that would complete our midfield...

Canini is the one that will sign in 48 hours...so this will be a great signing for us..Italian..talented..strong and young 24yrs..

Looks like Lotito is pushing for Miranda...a pairing of Miranda and Canini would be brilliant...remains to be seen though if we can get Miranda given his price tag...

As for makinwa, inzaghi, manfredini and del nero...why we haven't turfed these players is behind me...hopefully on the final days there will be a mad rush for bargains...

Alot of people in this forum are smokin crack. With D´Agostino we would have a ok midfield, without a really really really weak midfield.

Does anyone in here think Eliseau will save us? Mauri? Baronio? Dabo?

Ledesma is the only quality player on the midfield and he´s slow as hell.

We all like Foggia but he´s not a player that performs over an entire season.

We are screwed.

seems like kuzmanovic is near to athletico madrid.
i m just afraid that even if ledesma stay,what kind of motivation he will had,also how much can he find himeself in ballardini tact.,I dont wanna see the same movie(that every ball need to goes through him)

dabo is good replacement for brochi,meghni-mauri can be good in some games(mauri start good this seasson) for foggia,also we dont now yet about ellisue(maybe he could be good)
foggia is better than 90% of the players in his position(unleast for 70 min.),he could be good in trequartista position and also in clasical midle position(whithout to many defencive duty)
if we sign him I repead one of the best-not the best(if ballardini dont try to much philosophies pushing the foggia as a stricker,matu -trequartista

And I forgot to mention probably the best midfielder we have - Matuzalem (who isn´t even ours )

Foggia is a Lazio illusion just like De Silvestri was. He has great games but for some reason he´s not the first choice in any team (and let´s be honest Lazio and Cagliari isn´t exactly top of the line).

The problem is Lotito.

Apparentley we are moving closer to Miranda.
