We need strong CB's who are youthful..if we are going to go for Matrix we may aswell keep Siviglia and partner them!!!

How many South Americans have we been linked to? Maybe treble figures at this stage. How many have actually arrived? None. How many have went to other Serie A clubs instead? Plenty.

Miranda will probably sign for Milan or Fiorentina on the last day while Rever signs for someone ridiculous like Chievo.

Some big blows on the selling front.

Diamanti has just signed for West Ham and they're still in for Chamakh. If we weren't certain already, there's no chance that they're in for Pandev now.

Malaga have also signed Obinna. That probably rules out a move for Makinwa unless a Nigerian frontline is in their plans.

Well seems on the comments before me some are not that impressed by him, I on the other hand think he prooved in U-21Championship that he has great skills in him and of what I've seen this far from Eliseu I would not say he is any better then Bajrami but guess time will show if he makes himself a good name in europe or not. According to the Corriere Dello Sport, we want both Canini & Miranda.

We are said to be close to the loan asking price for Miranda.

So this would be 2 loans, to form a new CB pairing if all goes to plan.

Why Centro, it's no risk...if they suck send them back, if they are good then keep them like Zarate and Matuzalem.

I don't think we will get Bajrami, Maybe Tare asked him in Albanian what he said to Kolarov and why he was so rough all game, besides we already have Eliseu as back-up, Bajrami probably is at same level or even worse.

For me, it is the atmosphere within the Lazio that scares, no matter what new signings we get, how will they settle in when there is something in the air??

I usually want to spread what is positive to build on, but there IS something unbalanced and unnatural that must be fixed from THE INSIDE. We DO HAVE good players! They DO train proffessional many days a week and THEY CAN WIN against anyone if they want. But do they feel comfortable? Do they feel the spirit? Why do Lazio-heroes keep leaving us when they love the club and the fans?

Lotito reportedly going to close the deal for 17 year old Uruguayan Gonzalo Barreto on Monday, and he'll remain with Danubio until January when he's 18 and can play for us. He's one of the brightest young prospects in European football and once again, a great step forward to the future.

It's a bit disappointing though, that we can manage work like this in the mercato, but for two years we've been trying for a new CB and the end result is that we're scrapping for a gamble over the next 48 hours.

Ah well, let's hope we end up with Canini, Miranda, D'Agostino and Barreto.

I honestly hope that Pandev finds a new club before the end of this mercato. Obviously he doesn't want to play for Lazio anymore and it would be best he leaves ASAP.

Canini would be a very good signing IMO. It's hard to say how would Miranda or Rever adapt to Serie A. I pray to God that we don't end up with Coloccini or Terlizzi.

True I though Canini was our objective, he stil could be.

But all these reports are confusing.

Miranda or Canini are the only ones who will be worth the wait.

Both good player's in there own diffrent ways.

Barreto or Baretto is an objective is he that good? and Mutu is going to be banned if he doesn't pay chelsea by monday

Lotito spoke to Fiorentina about Kuzmanovic.

He would be willing to move to us.

However, an oral contract has been made with Sevilla, so him moving to us seems pretty difficult.

His agent said there is a small possibility.
