Baronio's agent: "Malaga and Valladolid after him"

Perhaps you can´t talk about international intrigues, but not much is missing before you actually can: while Lazio are waiting for the original documents signed by Al Saad, the Arab leaders are playing on more tables and are listening to proposals - definitely more favourable from Middlesborough and Portsmouth for the signing of Mauro Zaratè.

The English clubs don´t give up the pressure and have put an offer on the table, 1 million Euro for a one year loan followed by figures exceeding 20 million Euros for the definitive signing of the Argentine talent. In Formello the atmosphere is rather serene though: President Lotito expects the last parts of the documents to arrive this morning or at latest tomorrow - he already has the contract concerning the one year loan for next season in his hand and the long term contract has initially been agreed with the player: "Mauro stays here" that was declared last night by his agent and brother Sergio Zaratè - "He wants Lazio and he stays at Lazio, there exist no doubt about this. Details or not, those operating on the market have not given up. The executive Director of Portsmouth, Peter Storrie, has preferred to step back with the classic "No comment". Foggia: Dilemma for Lazio

Napoli, Palermo, Sampdoria. They are all looking for him. They all want him. But is it even sure that he is leaving Lazio? From this point of view, the passage to the 3-4-3 system would open new posibilities.

But what does the Lazio World think about the Foggia issue? "I believe it´s a necessity to try and rebuild the relationship and keep Foggia at Lazio", that is Bob Lovati´s opinion. "The value of the player is remarkable and the squad needs a talent like him. Moreover, he is still young, so he can grow with Delio Rossi, enough to mature some aspects in his character". More cautious is Vincenzo D´Amico: "Foggia´s qualities are many. One out of many? His fantasy. He has that fantasy and inspiration that not everyone has. But if the coach keeps playing with the 4-3-3, he doesn´t have the posibillity to play". To sum up: They are of the idea that the decision is Delio Rossi´s to make, after he has understood how much space he can give to the player.

Foggia yes, Foggia no, Foggia maybe. And to complicate the decision even further, there is also Meghni and Del Nero. Both are trying to relaunch themselves after hopefully having resolved their respective physical problems definitively. Like anticipated by Piazza della Libertà, it seems as if there will be positive news regarding the practise of Ledesma´s community passport. This was confirmed by President Lotito during the official presentation of Mauro Zaratè.

"I don´t know who got hold of the news about Ledesma´s passport" - Lotito have answered almost incredulously to the journalists, who asked for informations. "Certainly it has seen the light too quickly, which means there are people who refer to things which they should not. Anyhow, I do confirm that Ledesma from tomorrow morning will count as a community player. This will not influence, as I have read, on other negotiations in the transfermarket.
