Zauri to Fiorentina: It´s official

The official statement has arrived. As expected, Lazio´s ex captain moves on loan to Fiorentina in a loan deal with a buy out clause in Fiorentina´s favour.

Matuzalem to Lazio: Now it´s official

Real Zaragoza have announced Francelino Matuzalem´s transfer to Lazio through their official website. "The player arrives in Rome tonight in order to sign a one year contract with Lazio". "I am happy - he has declared - I can´t wait to start working with Rossi".

Francelino Matuzalem is officially a Lazio player. The announcement arrived directly from Real Zaragoza´s website: "Real have found an agreement for the transfer of the player Francelino Matuzalem in a one year deal to the Italian club Lazio". Zauri is officially a Fiorentina player. "At Lazio I have had some disagreements. I´m happy to wear the Viola jersey". In exchange Lazio were offered Dainelli, but he is of no interest. Lazio receive 400.000 Euro for the loan and could expect another 2,9 million Euro from Della Valle´s club in June for the permanent contract.

For the defence Rossi wants the Romanian Cosmin Moti with whom there is already an agreement. The terms are the same as those used for his compatriot Radu: A loan deal with an option to buy. Moti is not coming to Rome before the squad is cut down with the departure of Stendardo and maybe also Belleri. No news for Inzaghi (Reggina) or Baronio (Valladolid).

Transfermarket: Moti approached again

Next week could be decisive in terms of another arrival in Delio Rossi´s ranks. The road leading to the Romanian defender Moti seemed closed, but instead it has suddenly been reopened. The deal is closed, only the transfer is missing in order to deposit the contract and begin the season. However, in the last hours the buy out clause seems to have been lowered drastically and should have been fixed at 6,5 million Euro. Practically the same figures that Real Zaragoza paied to Shaktar Donetsk after the Brazilian had made himself available using the FIFA article 17.

Matuzalem arrived in Rome on friday evening. He met with President Lotito and found the agreement for his salary (around 1 million Euro per season). Defence: Rossi wants another central defender

Rossi wants another central defender: He has asked for five defenders plus the youngster Diakitè, who has just been out with a long term injury. At the moment he has four central defenders. Rozehnal, Cribari, Radu and Siviglia, but out of those, one is turning 36 years of age, while the Romanian is also considered the back-up for Kolarov on the left side.

Transfermarket: Arriving: Moti or Dainelli

Lazio still haven´t said the last word on the market. Lotito is counting on bringing another central defender and maybe also a midfielder. One of the most likely arrivals is Cosmin Moti, defender, 23 years old, who is highly rated by Delio Rossi. The Romanian National player, friend and ex teammate of Stefan Radu, has been blocked by Lotito since the end of June. 500.000 Euro is ready for Dinamo Bucharest in order to take the player on a one year loan, then another 5 million Euro for the buy out of his contract within one year. The operation had been put on hold, until Zauri and Stendardo are sold off, both of them considered out of Rossi´s plans.

In case the Moti transfer fails, Lazio already have the alternative ready: His name is Dario Dainelli. However, the destiny of the Viola defender is tied to Stendardo´s future (close to Bologna). In case Stendardo is leaving, the Fiorentina captain could arrive in Formello. Corvino intends to sell his defender, only when he has taken another one (the Argentine Burdisso more than anyone).

Another reinforcement could arrive for the midfield. The name is already known: Matiàs Augusto Fernandèz, 22 years old, number 8 in River Plate: Between today and tomorrow, his agent Pablo Sabbag will meet the directors from the Millionarios. Fernandèz, great friend of Carrizo, wants Lazio. It would be a transfer costing around five or six million Euro. Mutarelli and Lazio: trying to talk

Last Tuesday Lotito met in Rome the player’s agent, Marronaro. It was a preliminary meeting, where another one should take place in the following hours. Mutarelli is in the list of the players currently training at Formello, but he still hopes to be able to soon join his teammates at Auronzo.
Through his agent, Mutarelli expressed once again his will to stay at Lazio, and he is training with the usual professionalism in order to make Rossi change his mind and rely on the midfielder for this season too.

In the last hours, however, Torino has shown interest in Mutarelli. Cairo said to like the biancoceleste midfielder, confirming the granata’s interest. There are rumors about a swap with Simone Barone, who is about to leave the club. Lotito will probably meet up with Cairo before seeing Marronaro again.

It won’t be easy, in any case, to convince Mutarelli to leave. The player decided to refuse all the offers he received so far to stay with the biancocelesti. The possible transfer to Torino remains a possibility, where Urbano Cairo already proposed the exchange with Barone, who is of no interest to Lazio. Fernandèz: "I would like to go with Carrizo"

Augusto Matiàs Fernandèz has talked about his situation to the Argentine newspaper Òle. The midfielder says he is waiting for news regarding his Italian passport, because he wants to catch up with his ex teammate Carrizo in Lazio. The alternative is Panathinaikos, but for the time being "El Negro" only knows that his heart remains with River, even if he should leave Argentina.

Only a midfielder is missing in order to complete Delio Rossi´s Lazio. With Mutarelli leaving, President Lotito is exploring the market in search for a valid reinforcement to give to the biancoceleste coach. Two names are the most popular: Pinzi from Udinese and Guana from Palermo. In this moment those two are the only real midfielders on the market.

Udinese - The truth is that two weeks ago, Giampiero Pinzi was already a Lazio player. Lotito and Leonardi had reached the agreement for the exchange between the midfielder and Stendardo. The operation failed in the last moment, because at that time Mutarelli´s situation still wasn´t clear. Today, his divorce from Lazio is much closer. The only problem now could be Udinese, who is said to be rather unhappy with the negotiations fifteen days ago.

Not convinced by Fernandèz - Other than Pinzi and Guana, Lazio still keep the negotiations open for Augusto Matiás Fernandèz, the number 8 from River. He can only come with the community passport. The player claim to have all the documentation in place. The doubts are also tactical: We are talking about an attacking minded midfielder.
