When I come in here, and read some members bashing Rossi for the loss in Firenze, then I am really amazed. While I agree that Rossiīs situation hasnīt changed one bit after today, then I also think even the biggest airhead among the self declared "Rossi bashers" must admit that todays loss cannot be blamed on anything but bad luck and Lorenzo De Silvestri.
I feel sorry for the players, because their effort deserved to be rewarded on the scoreboard. But in any case, since we are in nowheres land in the middle of the table, I think today was more about getting back on track mentally and show that Lazio are still Lazio.
Unlike the losses to Cagliari, Sampdoria and Milan, I think todays loss was a lot different. Different in the sense that we fought all game, we managed to stay focused for 90 minutes, we created by far the biggest chances and for once the defence was actually solid. For me, Rozehnal was absolutely brilliant today, which I canīt remember I ever saw before. I hope that we finally found a defensive line that we can gamble on for the time being. Muslera is not a brilliant keeper in any way, but he looks a lot better than Carrizo. Kolarov fought well today and should be ahead of Radu, who has been terrible the entire season. Cribari and Rozehnal are probably the best we have right now in central defence.
The only negative thing was the red card... It was a correct decision if you look at the two incidents isolated, but I fail to see any consistency in De Marcoīs refereeing when Dainelli and even Montolivo got away with much worse freekicks than the one from De Silvestri after they had already been booked. Then it makes no sense !!! However, it doesnīt change the fact that Lollo screwed up big time and it should not be possible to be booked twice within the first 17 minutes of the game.
But ok, these things happen and even with 10 we were still by far the better team. Then you cannot ask for much more...
FORZA LAZIO You couldn't have said better

Those selection of fixtures was always going to be tough but we have a nice batch now before the derby return where we can pick up a shedload of points and be sitting pretty. Nobody says Muslera should have catched the ball, that would be too risky. He should have push the ball further out, so if Gila would have reached the ball he wouldn't have an angle to score from. By all means, thats just an experience thing that will come with age for our young keeper, but it was still a mistake and unfourtunatly it cost us a point.

| hUffff... I loved how we played yesterday, It was much better then every 4 last games. I defense it was very confident, especially without Lollo, Roz was the BEST! Only two or three moments defenders lost in this game, but Muslera (good confident playing too) cleaned them. And only one mistake leads to goal, I cant believe in it in some minutes after they scored. The most undeserved goal! About our attackin. Im so pity about Zarate, such unluck. We got lots of moments, so we could score 5-6 easily. Just a black band.. when will it over?? | |

That's a thing which I've been saying for a while now, and unfortunately, Rossi is too stupid to be able to understand that. The entire season I've been cheering when hearing the news that Siviglia is injured or disqualified. And now, I am pretty sure he will put Siviglia in starting 11 against Torino. Probably it's because Siviglia is his boyfriend.

When a ball bobbles inches in front of a goalkeeper, he has absolutely no control over where that ball ends up. Watch the highlights, it was actually a very decent save. The mistake came in the lead up to the goal, Nestor couldn't have done any better in my opinion. He is watching the ball, not Gila.

| That's the fvcking Lazio we all want to see!!!! Fvck yeah!!!! Playing with heart, determination and passion for the fans and club. Well done team! Very, very unlucky and some very silly calls by the referee. Luck is never on our side so I am used to that by now and the ref is a prick. Lorenzo did not deserve to get two yellow cards. No calls when our players were shirt pulled or fouled. What a prick referee! Frey was insane in goal (as usual) and Muslera did very well too and was terribly unlucky in their goal. Great first save on Mutu though. Shite happens. Move on. The players all gave 110% and played with their hearts and left their mark on the field. Every player was a gladiator today and I am sad that every single one of them gave so, so, so much for the team but unfortunately some cruel luck prevented us from achieving some points! I am unbelievably proud of the way the team played together, created chances and dominated a team for most of the match even with 10 men. They showed the passion and Lazialita which had slightly deserted the team over the last few games. If the team plays like this in the next match, then I am confident that Rossi and the boys will obtain a positive result and start to slowly, but surely, turn things around! FORZA LAZIO!!!! Can't wait for the next match.... NON MOLLARE MAI!!!! | |

| I feel better today. I don't comment Lorenzo, Mendicino, Muslera, or anyone. we play with 10 good players. We lost for faith. Let's go to next match. NB. A good galery for your eyes. http://www.piazzadellaliberta.it/gallery/ | |

| Only saw the highlights, but it looks like the win for them was not deserved considering the amount of chances, that Za and Pa should have scored at least a couple, that Muslera shoould not have given the rebound for Gila to score on and that the defence did not make very large mistakes (apart from on the goal, which is the problem of course that one mistake by Muslera+defence means a lost game...).
From what I read we looked like a team yesterday. And that is all that matters. That we show some spirit!
Non Mollare Mai! On saturday we take three...

| This was one of the best Lazio matches I watched this season.
The result hurt, but you cannot but raise your hat for such a performance and with 10 players !!!
I do hope this trend continues, if we fight like this everytime, our eagles will soar high again.

Non Mollare Mai ! Yups, i agree with u, this is the best lazio games ever for this year.. Matuzalem was doing well as midfielder with ledesma, they are both reminds me with pirlo and seedorf.. Anyway, i think brocchi was comfortable with his position yesterday (DR), Hahaha... ___________________________________________________________________________________________ http://forza-laziale.blogspot.com/
