I was thinking about how we conceded too many over the past 3 matches, and I come up with an idea, Why don't we play with 3 CB's? Switch 4-3-3 formation with 5-3-2..

The back 5 should be Kolarov, Cribari, Diakite, Rozehnal and Lichsteiner, our so called "offiside trap" never works anyway..

Yep the idea of having 3 at the back would allow our wing back (in this case, Kolarov and Lichsteiner) helping us getting forward. Playing with sweeper isn't a bad idea too, Milan did it with Baresi, so was Inter (with Matthaus), so if we lost the ball in midfield, we also have an extra man to "clean" things up.. With 5-3-2 formation would also allow Ledesma to go forward, or at least stay close with our strikers..

It'll be a tight match, but I got a feeling, we'd do well for this game..

I hope Rossi lockes the players in the video room without knowing whats going on.
Then he'll tell them we're not going to train with ball this week, we just gonna watch the last viola game over and over again
and then we'll have a special speaker coming in.
That would ofcourse be DiCanio smacking everones asses and start shouting until Lichtsteiner starts to cry (Zarate already started to cry long time ago)
and we would be pumped up for the game!

Fuck if the players didnt practice on defensive matters, the only thing they should do is go out on the pitch and run and be warriors until they taste blood in their mouths and everyone throws up in halftime!

i agree with meghni although he sometimes slows down lazio's pace but he definatelly unbalances any defensive line (when he doesnt lose tha ball). speaking of which zarate pls pass the ball in this game pls!! i guarantee you will shine if you pass. Our defense has to be solid or mutu, melo, jovetic and/or giraldino are gonna have a field trip moving around musleras danger zone. We need to be fearless but pace ourselves, always returning to get the ball and using couterattacks wisely for the likes of zarate & pandev. If we can hold on to the midfield with foggia moving the ball around smartly with matuzalem and ledesma more laid back with brocchi (if hes playing) we have more than a good chance. Im exited to see zarate/pandev/foggia/meghni combination. So it would be 4-4-2 in my opinion but with rossi calling the shots god knows what we are gonna look like on sunday. Anyways FORZA LAZIO!!!!
