| I have read (but haven't actually seen him play) many good things about centre back Andera Rispoli of Brescia. He is already linked to clubs like Cagliari, Parma and Palermo. Rispoli is regarded as one of Italy's best up and coming youngsters.
Also some interesting players contracts are up at the end of the current season, including.... Bresciano, Simplicio, Godin, Hilbert, Vukcevic, Fabio Aurelio, Chamakh, Yepes, Kallstrom, Metzelder and Hitzlsperger.
Kallstrom would be a dream but realistically I think Lazio could try for any of Bresciano, Simplicio, Yepes, Vukcevic and Hitzlsperger. Signing a player like Bresciano would be fantastic - as would Hitzlsperger. Although in his 30's Mario Yepes would be a very good short term solution (if Siviglia and Cribari were to leave, or any other central defenders).

| I fell over when i read this. http://www.theworldgame.com.au/italy/bologna-keen-on-macheda-275507Bologna 'keen on Macheda' 8 January 2010 | 07:00 - PA Sport Federico Macheda's agent says Bologna want to take the young Manchester United striker back to Italy on a loan deal, although he feels it is unlikely to happen. Macheda signs new United deal Macheda burst onto the scene last year when he scored a stoppage-time winner against Aston Villa on his debut. The teenager then scored again less than a minute into his second match for United as a second-half substitute at Sunderland. However, Macheda has not made a league appearance this season and Sir Alex Ferguson could consider loaning the 18-year-old out in order to gain more first-team experience. Serie A strugglers Bologna have made a move for Macheda but agent Giovanni Bia feels the Premier League champions will not agree to it. "Bologna have asked for him but we have to evaluate things with Manchester United," he told Tuttomercatoweb. "This afternoon I have a telephone appointment with them, but it will be difficult for them to let him go. "If they will do it would be on loan." Reports have also linked the Italy Under-21 international with a move to Real Zaragoza but Bia insists the Spanish club have not contacted him. Macheda, a former youth team player at Lazio, moved to United in 2007 and signed a new four-year contract at Old Trafford last December. | |

(i) Misimovic would be worth considerably more than 10mil in my opinion. (ii) He would be another "disidenti" in waiting. Misimovic is a stubborn & arrogant brat. We dont need people at out club who think that the sun shines out of their arse. We already have Lotito, we dont need another one.

Then you have Gabriel Tamas moving to West Brom on loan with a buy-out clause to play in the second-tier of English football. He is hardly a spellbinding defender but highly rated nonetheless, only 26 or 27, can still improve, is a compatriot of Radu's, tends to keep him out of the side so why are we not taking a peak?
Only options but two good ones in my opinion who are moving to poorer clubs than ours. Would have filled up two crucial voids on the cheap. Tamas? from Dinamo Bucharest?? have u seen him play?... he`s the type of player who has like 4 good games all season... he really really sucks... he plays much more off the field than on the field... trust me on this

Didnt he originally retire from intl football at 25 as a protest against Kodro? As a sook because he lost the captaincy? Didnt he have a "public" slagging match with Blazevic? Who incidently was a miracle worker with the B&H team. Didnt he fake injuries to not play for his country, as revenge on Blazevic?

| You need to understand the situation in Bosnia FA before you slam Misimovic so hard. - Kris wrote:
- [ Didnt he originally retire from intl football at 25 as a protest against Kodro? As a sook because he lost the captaincy?
He boycot the NT for other reasons as well. He came back after a month or so. - Kris wrote:

Yes he had, but it was becouse Ciro blamed him for the loss in Lissabon. Can't a player have a bad game once in a while? Ciro Blazevoc is a clown, you need to understand that. - Kris wrote:

Your oppinion. Do you have any evidence that he faked? Even Wolfsburg doctor releesed x-ray that he had an injury. Blazevic blamed him cuz Blazevic need someone to blame on when he loses.

| have you seen Guti play over the last couple of years? he is terrible, never runs, doesnt work at all, and he plays with an attitude like he is some combination of Zidane/ Messi wich he is far from. Further more he is already 33 and earn so much money that we cannot afford to pay him. guti | |

| Thomas Hitzlsperger, the former VFB Stuttgart captain, seems to be very disappointed with his current situation in Stuttgart, as he is not a regular starter right now. He didn't have a decent season so far, and was displaced as the captain during the first half of the season...anyway he is a midfielder who has some great qualities (especially long distance shots with his left food, for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rn0C4kfHuvg&feature=related).But to be a part of Germany's world cup squad he has to be a regular starter, so I think that he might want to move to another club. His contract expires at the end of the season and will probably not be extended, which means that he will probably not be too expensive (he is valued with 8 mil at transfermarkt.de) but should be much cheaper! He has some experience (Aston Villa, Stuttgart, GermanNT) and is not too old, I think 27, and he probably has the will to move to another club abroad (where he will be a starter again) and he is not too expensive... | |
