Lotito has denied ever asking about Canini, but says he was simply "monitoring the market." I think this is a roundabout way of saying, I'm interested.

Lalaziosiamonoi claim that Claudio would pay a handsome sum for a loan, presumably with one of his buy-out clause specialities but Cagliari are demanding a co-ownership at the very least.

According to Zamparini, Lotito wanted Simplicio but he is going nowhere. Case closed really. Hence, there seems to be a new effort in keeping Ledesma on board. Simplicio might not have been a direct replacement for Ledemsa but I do believe that was the intention. Now there's no rumours, no Bolatti, no nothing. Palermo signed Goian so no Radu move on the cards either.

Kozak's move to Brescia on loan is imminent. Mendicino is set to remain in the Capital although I don't think that is set in stone.

I think there's two goals for Lazio now; buy one central defender and sell the deadwood.

As much as I like Portanova, because of his lazialita', on a footballing level he is not a step up from Siviglia and Cribari. In fact, he's probably worse. The only real negative is we could've given Siena Makinwa as part of a possible deal.

Good to see Kozak go to Brescia. Will be massive for his development. No better league in the world for young talents than Serie B.

Anyone got word on Makinwa to Siena/Chievo....Manfredini to Bologna......Correa to Brescia....Bonetto to wherever???

Simplicio is no big loss. If Ledesma gets reintegrated into the squad (as I suspect he will), we don't need any new signings.

On the CB issue, not going to comment on any particular player, cause there are so many, but what I've noticed is that none of the targets have what we need. We need a leader, someone with years of experience at a high level, that can marshal a whole backline. Some random unknown Brazilian can't do this, neither can Canini. The only 'target' who can is Gallas, and that's just a ridiculous rumour. We aren't going to raise the standard of the defence without spending a fair amount of money, cause quite simply, we need an established leader there.

Makinwa was close to someone abroad (Malaga I would think) but that deal is now off according to his agent. Haven't heard much since.

I think Correa is still close to brescia but he has been for weeks whereas Bonetto to Livorno is supposedly imminent.

NO for oddo & kaladze.
i think with this list of probability for transfer the best choice is Miranda clearly.

I wouldn't mind a swap with Kaladze but with 8m on top of that. I'd well prefer Abate though.

Lazio has sign young Gonzalo Baretto, Uruguayan 18 forward. According to Wiki-smelling as he was one of the best goalscorers in south American u-17 championship.

Kaladze is another liability we don't need. If Milan are only offering him or Oddo then we should demand cash and no swap. I doubt they are keen enough to go for the 8mil or so we would want. I agree with testa about the defensive issues. Maki etc. shouldn't be much of a problem now wether they leave or not, it seems unlikely they will be called upon as they haven't been in the squads so far. Stendardo hasn't gone anywhere yet has he?

According to Cellino, he was a troublemaker at Lecce. For that reason, Cagliari claim they have no interest in him and with that news in circulation, who would be? Also explains why he isn't making these squads.

Kaladze's 2.5 Million Euro's a year contract will hault any more for him.

Cagliari do not want to sell Canini.

Lazio's lawyer compared the Pandev case to Ledesma and I think he may have done that because Cristian will be reintegrated into the team. Just a theory, but that's how it looked to me.

There's supposed to be a meeting between Cristian and Claudio today so I guess we will have to wait and see how that pans out.

If Oddo comes to Lazio in a transfer with De Silvestri then I´m 100% certain he will have taken a paycut /milan are paying most of his salary and to have Oddo as a backup for Licht (or vice versa) wouldn´t be bad for the club. Oddo is still a solid player and De Silvestri is lost.

Ps. I still hope Lotito does the right thing and puts the club up for sale and I still hate him.

What happend whit all the transfers Igli? The maraceto time is soon over, and our center deefender is not her?

According Corriere Dello Sport Lazio does not want Oddo, Lazio wants Abate for De Silvestri.

i heard some where that burdiso & lescot are not happy with their team & want to change their clubs, why we dont go for them? both are them are world class defenders although problem maybe is their salaries

Everton turned down a £22 Million Bid for Lescott from Man City, so most definitley out of our price range.
