| All in all had very little to do.
A few shaky moments at the start from corners, punching nervously etc.
But decent job done, came off the line well to rob Higuain of a genuine goal scoring chance.

| So if Lotito doesn't present some sort of offer by June, he'll look to leave?? well knowing Lotirchio....
I understand Nando's frustration, given he is a NT keeper and Eliseu earns more than 3 times as much as him.
I don't see how hard it can be to present him with a 1 million per season offer and take it from there.

| Nando should go. He has a nice chance to become a great keeper. Why would any player earning 250k per year in a team fighting to escape relegation and who is not even offered a new contract stay? I really see no reason! He is at a peak in his career, he should move fast. Carrizzo will be back in the sumer, he will probably do for next year, then move also to Milan or so...and then we will have Bizzarri so should be fine...
imagine this:
Bizzarri - Siviglia, Cribari, nobody, nobody - Baronio, Manfredini, nobody - Mauri - Inzaghi, Makinwa
this could be pur team for the next season...

| The problem is not that Nando is not making that much money at the moment, remember he was only a young young talent when he came around, and he didnt really impress during his first season. The problem is rather that Lotito is not having an ongoing and fair discussion about how he will develop the contracts of the players that came to us as prospects, but that actually managed to become stars. Just the way they have stepped up their game, Lotito needs to be ready with a new and improved contract and constantly have a discussion making sure that the players are enjoying playing in la Lazio. This doesnt mean that he should offer new contracts to players every year, but when he sees a guy like Nando (or Kolarov) Lotito needs to be humbke enough to realise that it is a future star, and he needs to improve their deals before it is too late to keep the players... | |

| Nando, once again, had a great game. I wasnt that convinced the first times I saw him play, but this and last season he has been doing better than anyone in our team. After the display against Udine, where he single handedly saved our arse and gave us one point, Lotito should have seen what he needs to see. Lets not wait until it is too late.
Or maybe Lotito is planning to cash in on him? And the find a new Nando somewhere...?

| Once again we are reading that a player could be on his way out. BUT why?!... Don´t get me wrong. I´m not a big Lotito fan, but for such cases - there are always two or more persons. Everyday we are reading comments of the Muslera manager in the media. Why is he always talking with the media? The managers are more and more the real problems and compared with our stupid president - very dangerous. But if I would be the president, what should I think about managers who are always talking with the newspapers and so on...?! Muslera had a bad first year at Lazio, but he was fighting and Rossi gave him a chance again. Lazio made a very good goalkeeper. Now he´s playing in the national team and he will be in the squad at the world cup. For this, Muslera thanked Lazio at the end of the last season. And now, his agent can´t shut up like Ledesma´s or Pandev´s agent. Everybody knows, that Lotito gets angry at such cases (I´m also getting angry). Why are they doing it? I can´t believe it, when a player is happy and said that he thanked Lazio for all, and when things are not going well - his manager can´t shut up his mouth. Sorry, but Muslera signed his contract with Lazio for 250.000 per season. Nobody forced him to do this. I know that Lotito have to give him more money NOW, but in this situation, Muslera´s agent has to shut up, and Muslera has to speak with Lotito behind the scene. Then, I´m sure that they will find an agreement. But as long as his agent is talking in the media, Lotito is going to be frustrated mor and more. And I´m also... | |

Their only loyalty is to their clients and to themselves. The more money their client earns, the more they earn. Why do you think agents fuel transfer speculation?? cause they get a cut of the transfer fee. If Nando moves to Man U or Arsenal, his agent will get a nice payday. Nando's agent is a former riomma player anyway, Daniel Fonseca. Personally I hate agents, they are the worst thing in football, but they aren't going away.

And I´m also... I think his manager has the right to ask for an improve contract, that's his job, there's nothing wrong with that, footballer(s) needs money too afterall.. We are not sure if Nando had asked for an improve contract (behind the scene), what we do know is that lotito likes to delay things, as you can tell with Pandev's saga, Rocchi's one million euro per season contract, Behrami's, the saga of Rever's transfer (Preziosi sent his son to Argentine to get Palacio, after 4 days, they bought him, lotito sent Tare to Brazil, after a week he went home empty handed, and after 6 months, the saga continues) and so on.. I agree with you when a player signed a contract they need to respect it, but the management (in this case Lotito) should also appreciate the player needs, I'll give you one current example, Lavezzi has just signed a new improve contract till 2015, and this last sentences I quoted from football Italia, “When I bought Napoli I said to myself: 'Here we do things this way and not another.' However, a deal is always bilateral, you need two people to come to an agreement.” My point is, sometime a little bit of appreciation doesn't hurt..

I nearly fell off my chair I hope one day I'll be able to survive on a 250k a year salary and manage to avoid poverty while doing it. I am never going to feel sympathy for a footballer with concerns to his pay. The wages are disguisting, espescially while the world is in a recession and 'real' people are losing their jobs and can barely pay their mortgages.

Of course 250k a year would be massive for us, but considering the likes of John Terry, who is reportedly earning around 250k/week, then 250k/season doesn't really look big, does it?

| I think that a major issue is the injustice taking place when Manfredini, for example, rocks up to pre-season training in the hottest car; which is down to him cashing in his fat paycheck, worth 3 or 4 times more than what Nando and Kolarov earn, even though they are the ones carrying this side.
Yet over the years, these overpaid "old" players have had their deals renewed with little fuss by management and the top performing players haven't.
This makes for an ugly atmosphere. Other clubs that are working with a similar financial situation to us aren't having these problems, cause they manage their squad and contractual issues much more professionally.
