No way that Makinwa or Tare should stay. They have no quality whatsoever. A waste of time and space. They show nothing in two years time, and with them as back ups we would battle for relegation for sure. I'm sick to see that Lazio have become so weak that mediocre smelling as players like makinwa or Tare became third-four strikers.

| Makinwa is useless
the guy is not a talented footballer, seriously we spent 6.7 million on him (for us that is a big amount) and he failed to score for both Lazio and Reggina
Obinna is available, maybe rossi can learn from his mistake and sign him.
Tare will be 36, he is finished at Serie A level. he works hard but is just not good enough

| Are u really serious about Tare and Makinwa Caxi?
As somebody said earlier they are dead woods, just make a small attention to their goal scoring records for the last years? Give me a minor side that is intrested to sign them?
There should be 5 strikers in any club and for Lazio next season they should be like this: Rocchi, Pandev, Zarate, Amoruso, and a youth player from the primevara or newly signed serie B strike.

| What I have seen from Makinwa is really inadequate. But I am asking myself , why Rossi will care so much about him ? Rossi has different vision as a coach , and for this reason I am prone to think that maybe Makinwa still has something to show us..... | |

There should be 5 strikers in any club and for Lazio next season they should be like this: Rocchi, Pandev, Zarate, Amoruso, and a youth player from the primevara or newly signed serie B strike. guys, perhaps I didn't explain myself welll, but what I meant was I believe Makinwa and Tare will stay at the club, NOT that I want them to stay, but to be honest, I think that is the best option for Lazio. Makinwa has pace and if he can find any kind of goalscoring touch, he's good enough to be a 4th choice striker (behind Pandev, Rocchi and Zarate). It's better keeping Makinwa for nothing than bringing in Amoruso for 3.6 million when he is already 33 years of age. Come on guys, Makinwa isn't great, but it makes some sense to keep him. Vignaroli is awful, Inzaghi's wage is far too high for us to keep him and Tare is the last option then. Of course I'd sell Makinwa and Tare if a suitable offer comes along and I'd bring in a couple of young strikers, but, let's face it guys, that's not realistic.

So he will come on a trial then and offcourse get a medical or does it mean if he passes the medical then Lotito will sign Zarate!? I really hope its all true.... I have heard and read great things about this guy and saw highlights of the EPL matches at the beginning of this year with him in it. He played very well I thought and got a good record aswell - especially for a youngster with no European experience prior to joining Birmingham. I would love to see him wear the Lazio jersey and hopefully Lotito is able to persuade him to join! I would also prefer him to join over Palacio but now we wait.... What about the Dessena rumour? That would awesome if its a true rumour. He is well experienced for a 21 year old and has got good Serie A game time. Also Cigarini is another player at Parma who also has played well for a while now.

I think you are right mate.... at least with Makinwa you wouldn't need to spend to bring him here (also considering probably not many clubs are interested in him anyway). He is already Lazio's. The 3.6 million or whatever could even perhaps be better spent elsewhere. Makinwa may not be the greatest but at least he has speed and putting him on in the last 20 minutes to run at the opposition defense could earn Lazio a few extra points. I like Amoruso and I think he would be a good addition to the team but if Lotito cant let go of Tare, Inzaghi and Vignaroli - at least on loan, then I don't know how easy it would be to keep them and even get another striker as Zarate or Palacio.

| Zarate has told the argentine media that he has agreed to join Lazio and the deal will be made official on the 8th July.
so all being well, he's in Lazio :)
let's forget Palacio now and bolster this defense and midfield.

| Zarate impressed me a lot when I watched him when he was playing for Birmingham against my team Sunderland at the Stadium of Light last season. He was their only player who I feared could do us any damage in the Birmingham team. | |

| ummm, the fact that he scored 4 goals when he moved to one of the best leagues in the world with little time to adjust, the fact that at 19 years of age he was top scorer of the argentine league along with one rodrigo palacio and the fact that serie A has always had success with players from this part of the world. | |

Relax AbedElkader... he's only 21... he needed experiences to gain self confidence first before joining a big league, he tried himself at birmingham.. scored 4 wonderful goals for a half season in a relegation team... he joined Al Sadd only for half season as well... before that he played for velez sarsfield and scored 22 goals in 3 years and his age back then only 17-20 years old. you should see him dribbling... it's between messi and salas I would say.. Half big clubs in europe are chasing him... somehow they're lil' bit forgetting him... he is a big prospect man... just like cristiano ronaldo back then, hope he'll be getting better and better with us...

| As much as Zarate is a talented player he also has another side to him I have seen, he was very moody when substituted or not played, and with Rocchi and Pandev, the tried and trusted this may come up again. I can understand everybodys praise for his abilities as I watched him when he was at Birmingham alot but it still worries me when a sitatution like Standardos could happen again | |

Maybe because he was playing in al Sad from qatar where he must play regulary in teams like AL SAD or Birmingham city because these teams are not top teams like lazio ... but here in lazio he will play with pandev and rocchi .. i think it will not be any problems and we hope .. |
