I am totally disgusted. They were not going to win this one for sure and then a gift from the ref.

Its United mate.... what else would we expect from teams like them and Real Madrid Very Happy playing mediocre and then getting some dubious decisions in their favour letting them get an undeserved victory. Madrid are kings of such!

Hull City are having a great start to the season and what a goal from Geovanni!
that guy reminds me of quagliarella from a few seasons ago with samp, how he only scored spectacular goals. of course not even close to as often.

Unfortunately that is true.
That is why I never like teams like Real and Manchester.

Juve falls into this category as well.

What is seriously happening with spurs? People were discussing wether the would step up and become the 4th team of England bla bla bla. I know many factors lay behind this, but more than anything the guy in charge of buying and selling players must be a true amateur...who sells Keane and Berbatov, and brings Pavlyochenko? Crazy business....

Its not United on the pitch, thats true man, or really any other team. But I have always seen it (and I think alot of other people do aswell) as the referees helping the 'bigger' and richer teams like United, but especially Real Madrid in some silly calls if the team is playing shite or are having a bad run of games and 'need' to get back to winning. Same as with Juventus.

And hahahaha.... Liverpool arent a failure Wink they have always had a good team, achieved some great results both in Europe and in England but unfortunately unable to put it all together consistently throughout the entire season in both fronts - eg: win a big game one week and draw some silly one the next :( lol it sucks and its a shame but I think over the next few years Rafa will get it right and hopefully they will return to the lovely days of the 1970's and 1980's when they were untouchable and dominated every team in England Very Happy it surely won't be the same as United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all got great squads but I hope Rafa and company give it a real push this season and for years to come. I don't see it as failure mate.... but the time will come again when Liverpool win the EPL Wink patience is a virtue!

I dont think its to do with that at all, it was just a poor decision you can ponder all you like about it being because United are a big club, or what not, its just not true, we have our bad decisions and we have our good ones, this was a fortunate one yes, but for goodness sake, its not because of status.

Liverpools failure I said, I cant deny their history but for the arrogance they sprout every year about it being there year, and then never is wears thin, It has been failure with the sides they have, 18 years no league title for a big club like yourself shouldnt happen, Arsenal could achieve it with far less resources. I think you are being bitter at a rival because you are worried about there challenge, sounds like an excuse to me

To be honest it was a cringe-worthy result. Completely unacceptable. We are only two points of the top but dropped points like this will be very costly at the end of the season. Hopefully the team plays much better against Porto tonight.

It will be difficult, its very corporate at Arsenal now and they have schemes like Red member, which prioritise people from there, will definately be alot of demand for this game too. You could go down the tout route but that is very costly

Yeah, I live in England.

No, not near London. In the Midlands. We moved away from London a long time ago.

Extremely slim. Almost anorexic. Tickets for home games are in huge demand and there are big waiting list for season tickets even though tickets are extremely expensive expecially for a a game rated "A" like against Manchester United. To be honest I would not bother. The little tickets available for general public will be gone in a matter of minutes.

Arsenal saved by the bell.

You can`t win the championship by dropping points against Fulham, Hull and Sunderland.

Yeah, I agree especially when our rivals are so consistant. These dips in form cost us dearly and for some reason we always get them over the course of a season. Last season it cost us the title. The team looked poor and unmotivated against Sunderland. The team has to snap out of it straight away. Luckily the international break may have come just in time.

That is very intriguing indeed.... I have grown to have a soft spot for Portsmouth over the last few seasons since Harry took over, and he has done such a good job there and made a wonderful team which does well every season and gain very respectable placings. Even though a good friend of mine is a Southampton fan.... Very Happy

Its a shame he is leaving the club after several good seasons and winning the FA Cup last season, but I guess everyone has their price and Tottenham are a big club and that is tempting for any manager. Respect to Mr Harry Redknapp and hopefully he does well at Spurs but he will be missed at the south coast club and even though I am not a real fan of theirs, I feel sad that he has left so fast.

He said that he couldn't pass the chance of managing a "big" club before he retires.

I think he has made a mistake though, he is leaving a club that he has shaped to his liking, a team that were going places and it just doesn't seem logical that he would want to join the shambles at Spurs. I wish him all the best and I am now keen to see who Portsmouth bring in.

The feeling is a bit as if there is only the chance of failing with Spurs at the moment. They can never reach the top this season, and that is where they will be situated for some time. They have a weak team, and their mercato was a large failure. They do not have a leader on the pitch, and they are short of real quality players. Juande Ramos was never a good idea, and he did the same as Redknapp is doing now: leaving a succesful spell and joining a team that always under-achieves.

Who takes over at Pompey?

Seems as though Portsmouth have found their new coach in Tony Adams....

Adams Handed Pompey Job - Report

Portsmouth's search for a new manager is reportedly over as they are set to unveil Tony Adams as Harry Redknapp's permanent replacement...

According to The Sun, Adams has been in talks with the Pompey board since declaring his interest in the job on Sunday evening.

The former Arsenal captain was Redknapp's right-hand man before the now Tottenham Hotspur boss made his surprise exit from Fratton Park on Saturday.

Adams is very highly rated by Redknapp, who is on the record as telling Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie: "You’ve got Joe (Jordan) and Tony and they are terrific guys. Tony is up-and-coming in the managerial game and works very hard."

Sam Allardyce was the favourite to take the helm on the South Coast, but the club ruled out the former Bolton Wanderers manager after hearing his wage demands and the number of staff he planned to bring with him.

Hence, the FA Cup holders have looked inward for Redknapp's successor, a decision partly influence by the current cashflow crisis which forced Redknapp to chase a bigger transfer kitty at White Hart Lane.

Adams' first game in charge will be a baptism of fire as Pompey take on Liverpool, who lead the Premier League after downing Chelsea at the weekend.

Portsmouth are expected to unveil their new boss later today.
