| Ok.
Firstly, you can make one free transfer without any deductions. When I say transfer, I mean bring in one new player and take one out; you can switch your bench/starting line-up around as much as you like.
As soon as you make a second transfer between any two "gameweeks", you get a deduction of four points from your total. If you make three, you get a further four point deduction and so on.
Basically, unless you feel you can bring in a player who can get 4+ points more than the guy you are taking out, a second transfer is pointless.
A whole fixture problem arises this week. International qualifiers were due to be played but now European club fixtures takes their place. As a result, all English teams involved in Europe have European fixtures this week while those not participating in Europe play the Premier League. That's why there are 6 fixtures; because 4 fixtures have had to be postponed until a later date because of European competition.
So, because there's only 6 fixtures this week, that means there will be 14 fixtures in a later "gameweek." For that reason, there is a good chance you won't get eleven players to score points in this matchday but in a later matchday, some of your players will play two games and you will be compensated that way.

| Thanks caxi, that makes more sense. I thought we were just losing out on the other games but if they get get played later then obv we will get everything evened out. | |

| Yes, it all evens out but these kind of weeks presents a serious challenge; it's difficult to know what approach to take. | |

I wish. There was an ESPN version a while ago (maybe its still running?) but its not the same. There's an A-League fantasy football game going if you're keen Testa? @ Caxi: Looks like we're equal on 49 points.....

If a player on your starting eleven doesn't play, he is automatically substituted for the first outfielder on your bench (No. 13) You can change your bench preferences when selecting your team. The option is around the same area as the"Captain" function and basically, you choose who is the first man to come of your bench should one of your starting line-up not play.

We are looking at getting some sort of Serie A game in place for the new season but the problem is generating the participation.

| I can't believe on the fan board of a Serie A team we can't get people interested in a Serie A game. There's one on Yahoo, no it's not the same, but it's one of few out there specifically for Serie A where you can have private leagues. I'd be glad to set one up for the board. | |

| A La Liga one is opening soon. Hopefully we can get a few people invoved in it.
I stand a better chance in it than in the EPL One, know more about it than the EPL.

| Guys, if we have three different fantasy football tournaments, people will choose to favour some over others and then ultimately, you kill the competition in all of them.
Fantasy Premier League is running well so the idea of another fantasy football tournament is probably best left aside for the timebeing. However, I do agree on formulating some Serie A-type game, along the lines of a prediction league or a guess the goalscorer competition. If you have any ideas or suggestions, let me know and we will format a Serie A game in time for the new season.
If I thought three fantasy football games for the three big tournaments would work, I would encourage it but as it is, there are many newcomers to the format and I don't think we can sustain it. It is worth considering for future years and for sure, a World Cup edition has to be on the cards.
So, if you have ideas for a Serie A game, PM me.

| I hate that as soon as in week 2, there is a crazy thing around fixtures.
Only half of the matches are played and who knows how much we have to wait until our players compensate these matches.
