i hope that even if we dont sell him now we will use him until he leaves(i m sick of baronio)

unlikely, but lolito might force ledesma to extend with his conditions and reintegrate him to the squad. That in terms of harmony wont do us good, but it would be AWESOME if lolito finds away to have ledesma playing with us again. The combination of ledesma and matuzalem has always been mouth watering.

I dream about a midfield with hitz the hammer matuzalem and most importantly ledesma.

The 3 possible paths for Ledesma:

a) Lotito renews his contract and inserts him back into the first team: the only situation of any advantage.

b) Ledesma rejoins the first team playing at least five official matches of the remaining 17: in this case in July he can free himself from his contract with article 17 and go to another country.

c) Ledesma doesn't play any of the 5 matches and can free himself in July, even within Italy, with article 15 of the same regulation.

In the last two cases, Lazio lose.

I just spoke with my two friends which are not big Lotito fans and they both agree that what Lotito did was great and that he is a legend the way he treated Ledesma (they say that he proved that no player is bigger than the club).

We must stand behind our players, no matter if it is Lotito or someone else..

Karakash I agree, but the discussion was about Lotito and Ledesma (our players in disquise).

They r not said that he is a good president but the way he handeled the ledesma and pandev issue was correct and that he showed that no player was bigger than the club. Thats all they said they did not say that he was a great president or anything like that. Also they say if they were in Lotito shoes they would not accept inters bid for ledesma aswel as they took pandev 4 free. (PS they r not lazio fans, so they do not feel about lotiot the way we do but still i must agree on whay they said, despite lossing 10 million from ledesmas transfer).

A very hypocritical statement.

I agree that you didnt say he was a great president, but trying to make an example that the players arnt bigger than the club, when he infact believes he is.

He loses arguably our best player (Pandev) for nothing...
He also payed him 150k in damages...
He knocks back an alleged bid of 10mil for Ledesma...
He burns LDS and loses a great clubman...
He continues in the courts with other squad members...
He continues to buy players and develop a squad the size of a small african nation...
He continues to focus on pipe dreams of new stadiums & developing his real estate, and not tackle issues more important at hand...
He continues to employ an under-performing, over-rated coach...
He continues to lock horns with our fan base home & abroad...
He continues to be the puppeteer with Tare...

Until he changes his attitude, no decision he makes is "legendary", and only continues to cut this club further to its knees.

Sorry to turn this thread into another anti-lotito thread, but i couldnt help but see that every thread in this forum has its roots stemming from a major fuck-up by our most gracious el presidente. Its inevitable.

Kris agree with you on some facts but:

We got screwed over Pandev and IMO we will win the appeal
Knocking back the bid for Ledesma was stupid unless he thinks of reintegrating him
LDS got scared of a little competition and wanted to leave
Bonetto suing Lazio is a stupid case! FFS yesterday the bayern management clearly stated - If Ribery doesn't extend he'll be exiled. and that is on goal.com!
Lotito buys players cause our suck! And you can't blame him for not offloading just because players don't want to leave. he can't just say good bye and send them away
the new stadium would be actually good for Lazio, cause now the rent we are paying is too much

this is the ledesma thread, the appeal against pandev's move to inter, what do you mean by the term best played player ? pandev has quality but he would not have saved us. and I will always defend lazio cause I'm a lazio fan not a pandev one, oh and in this case Lotito is right, so you admit it

Goal.com suggests that Ledesma is claiming that he is now ready to play for Lazio. I have no idea why he hasnt been prepared to play earlier, if that has actually been the case at any point or if it has only been lotito/balla not playing him because of the situation, but no matter what I hope our new coach is prepared to play him. He could be a fundamental addition in our struggle for survival...

Maybe him and Lotito has decided on something together? Maybe that Ledesma is reintegrated if he promises to sign a new contract, and Lotito promises to actually sell him the coming mercato?

I think you hit the nail on the head with those 4 words Cash! Balla used to say that the whole squad was available and that it was "technical choice" that he never picked Ledesma - in layman's terms, he was told by Lotito that Ledesma was unavailable to pick.

Interesting to see how he would perform after over half a season out. However well he has been training, it is no where near playing in a competetive game. Don't get me wrong, if the situation has changed and he is available for Mr Reja to select then great, I just think it is more likely to be the change of coach and his hopeful tactics and ability to get the squad to perform that will be our salvation. Didn't Napoli take an interest in him while Reja was still coach?

We'll see...

Getting Ledesma back in our squad would be great! Our midfield has been lacking someone of his quality so far this season. He would be very important as a link between our midfield and our attack.
