| Problem is, they're all playing at home, and are objectively stronger than the opposition. I also think that of the 5 Lech Poznan is most likely to cause an upset, though Zenit are in a bit of a pinch after Advocaat left, and I don't give much credit to Heerenveen either.
All we need is one to make our life a whole lot easier, there's a dramatic difference in quality between Pot 2 and 3.
P.S. I didn't go through the whole list, but I guess in Pot4 there will be no Red Star Belgrade, they lost 3-0 to sparta prague. does this change things? surely we are seeded above the czechs

Martinese, are you a CSKA fan bratko? I haven't asked you, but where in Sofia do you live?
I support Levski but I want CSKA to progress, and all Bulgarian teams as well.
Dynamo are a good side but not as good as they used to be some seasons ago, and will be difficult. First leg is in Moscow so if CSKA can get a good result there, then they are in with a shout going into the 2nd leg. Kerzhakov is a top player but as Bridge-Bhoy said he is often left isolated up front and if CSKA keep him under control, and attack well enough, then they can pull off a good result.
I agree about Litex. If they are at their best I also think they can overcome BATE. All the best to them as well! Sorry for the late answer but I havent seen your reply .. Yes, I'm a fan of CSKA. I live in Ovcha Kupel. CSKA i Litex made good results. Litex took a good win and CSKA should have won because they had more chances to score but I'm happy that Dynamo didn't score. We (the fans) made a great atmosphere (Bobbi you can see it here: http://sportal.bg/ [the second video in the upper right corner of the site])

| if we gonna reach pot 2, it seems we'll get a weaker team ... but when you see what's left in pot 3, there are also some tuff nuts to crack
anyway my hope is that Poznan will at least draw against Club Brugge, because Club Br is a very very average team ... and if they don't, well let's hope to play Club B in the rounds and give them an European spanking like the other Belgian teams (Lyon 5-1 Anderlecht, Gent 1-7 Peperones)

Metalurg Donetsk 2:2 Austria Vienna I would be massively surprised if Lech Poznan and Metalurg go out. Poznan definitely have the best chance of progressing but Metalurg have enough quality to do a job in Vienna. Our co-efficient is 26.582. Sparta Prague's is 26.150. They are the closest side in Europe to us without being ahead of us I believe. We also need Olympiakos and Copenhagen to make the Champions League or we drop down the pecking order. I know the Greeks will make it but it would just be our luck for Copenhagen, of all teams, to lose their CL tie and ultimately bump us down into Pot 3. However, it would be very fortunate if we ended up in Pot 2 anyway considering how many shocks there were in other rounds.

I know where that area is, I used to live in Sveta Troitza but when I go back for visits I stay in Lozenets and Lyulin because we have family there. Litex got a very good result and CSKA also have a good chance now in Russia. Hopefully both teams progress. Levski didn't do so well against Debrecen the other day, as you probably know so maybe there will be 3 Bulgarian teams in the Europa League this season which would be great! And just saw the video, the atmosphere looks great!

| Their editor can't be Riommanista; if he/she is, then you would presume they would have at least watched Riomma's games last season and would know how ridiculous a prediction that is.
All rivalry and bias aside, we are far better equipped to take on Europe and their status as tournament favourites is absurd.

| This is the current situation, we are top in POT 3. The teams in BOLD all qualified for the EL groups rounds (also losers from CL), the teams in GREEN are pretty sure to be in the next round, the teams in BLACK all drew their 1st game, so still 50/50 change to pass the round, the teams in RED all lost their 1st game, so have to battle to overcome this defeat.
Pot 1 Werder Bremen Ger 91.339 > away v Aktobe (6-3) Villarreal Esp 80.853 > home v NAC (3-1) AS Riomma Ita 78.582 > home v Kosice (3-3) PSV Eindhoven Ned 75.826 > home v Bnei Yehuda (1-0) Shakhtar Donetsk Ukr 74.370 Zenit St. Petersburg Rus 68.525 > home v Nacional (3-4) Sporting CP Lisbon Por 68.292 Hamburger SV Ger 67.339 > home v Guingamp (5-1) Benfica Por 64.292 > away v Vorskla (4-0) Valencia Esp 59.853 > home v Stabaek (3-0) Panathinaikos Gre 56.633 Ajax Ned 54.826 > away v Slovan Br (5-0)
Pot 2 Steaua Bucuresti Rom 53.781 > away v St Patrick (3-0) Fenerbahçe Tur 52.445 > home v Sion (2-0) FC Basel Sui 51.050 > home v Baki (3-1) Lille OSC Fra 47.033 > home v Genk (2-1) Celtic Sco 40.575 Everton Eng 35.899 > away v Olomouc (4-0) Club Brugge Bel 34.065 > home v Lech Poznan (0-1) Heerenveen Ned 33.826 > home v PAOK (1-1) Galatasaray Tur 33.445 > away v Lev. Tallin (5-0) Anderlecht Bel 32.065 Austria Wien Aut 31.565 > home v Metal. Donetsk (2-2) FC København Den 26.890
Pot 3 Lazio Roma Ita 26.582 > away v Elfsborg (3-0)
So... if Club Brugge or Zenit can't win tomorrow, Lazio will move 1 spot to enter pot 2 Or ... if Austria Wien or Heerenveen or AS Riomma can't qualify, Lazio will move 1 spot to enter pot 2
Those 5 games are the key for pot 2, but i won't bother if we stayed in pot 3 (pretty sure Lazio will play 1 or 2 games near or in Belgium)

| Where's Hertha Berlin in that list?
As far as I was aware, APOEL beating Copenhagen was going to put us second in Pot 3.
PS. I think pazke is right; I think we are just ahead of Hertha in the co-efficients...

Lazio - Ita 26.582 Hertha BSC - Ger 26.339 I was working off Bridge-Bhoy's original list and Hertha was ahead of us. Probably just a simple mistake. Aston Villa out. You have to question their ambition but Rapid Vienna are ones to watch. They are comfortable on the ball, created loads of chances and should have scored a lot more. Ideally, I want to avoid them tomorrow.

| Zenit are out with an 89th minute goal. Ouch. Dinamo Bucharest won their 2nd leg 3-0 to force penalty kicks and won them to go through. Very impressive. CSKA Sofia are through. Well done. Martinese you must be happy! Litex Lovech are out..... 4 minutes away from qualification when BATE scored and forced extra time. From there they scored 3 more to win 4-1 on aggregate. That's a real shame. | |

| I've us down as the last team in Pot 2. In your original post, you have us behind Hertha; we have aslightly higher co-efficient thatn then which meant we only needed one team above us to fail; and Zenit did that. No? | |
