| He is not lazy, but sometimes he dissapears from the offensive game and then it seems as if he os not running at all. Another problem is that he is far to inconsistent, has too many ups and downs, and therefore people tend to have a quite high tendency to critisize him. He has developed his defemsive game very much and this season he has shown us that he masters this game better than before.
Too me, Ledesma could be so much better if he only showed some more determination and tried to stay focused 90 minutes game after game. If we consider him a more defensive player there is not so many players as good as him in the league, the problem is that our offensive game becomes a bit too much of a "only the attackers" game, and no midfielder have been found to fully help them out. That is why I found Ledesma a better player for us previous seasons when he had two defensive midfielders taling care of the dirty work and he could join the attack more. As it has been this season, none of the midfielders that have been put out there to take care of the more offensively minded game (Meghni, Mauri) have been good enough...with a player that would be a success offensively, being the link between Ledesma and the attackers, or if we had a formation letting Ledesma play a bit further up the piych we would see more of him.

I have to agree with this. Ledesma is very hard working, sometimes maybe a little to much. Delio Rossi puts a lot of pressure on him and sometimes I wonder if he really is talanted enough to handle it.

| Tuttomercatoweb quotes the agent of Ledesma as saying "He is closer than ever to signing a contract extension, because money is not the matter, its all about the Lazio Project"
Pretty good news. | |

But good.... Simply,I don't want this player to remain... I think you may have to decifer between player comments and agent comments and then add propaganda to the equation. I think Ledesma got alot of bad press this year (due to his agent) and I don't really doubt his loyalty and hope to see him next season. There aren't many better options for his role in Serie A.

Exactly. The player is extreamly efficient in breaking up attacking plays from opposing teams, and adds strength to our midfield. When he has not been there I think we look much weaker in the middle of the park. He is also excellent at deadball situations. I think he needs someone next to him in the middle who can add to the creative aspect of the midfield. As for his agent, I guess he is like any other one just in it for the money without regard for our colours.

| Cristian Ledesma's agent will meet with Lotito on Friday to find an agreement to extend his contract, however......
If this fail's, they will excecute Article 17, and find a club abroad, possibley a move back home in order to secure a World Cup place.
Lotito will show his true colours on Friday.
Fingers Crossed. | |

Fingers Crossed. Lotito better not f*** around anymore, cause we need Ledesma in the team, and if we lose him with Articolo 17, we won't even get the money to replace him. Just give him the pay rise he wants, extend his contract and then whisper in his ear to get a new agent because D'Ippolito is a pezzo di merda.

| Article 17 has been his weapon for getting a new contract all along. I don't believe he intends to use it unless Lotito seriously doesn't want him at the club.
Unlike most people here, I'm happy with the guy and his performances and we need him to stay.

Unlike most people here, I'm happy with the guy and his performances and we need him to stay. I appreciate his performances as well, though despise the mercanery actions of what I presume is his agent. He offers great defensive cover but needs someone alongside him who can perform in a creative role. Heres the problem though that worries me, we may spend this summer looking for replacements for Pandev and Ledesma and forget about the areas that really need attention, i.e. another winger and a quality central defender.

| Indeed his performances over the year have been great. He is my favourite player. Will be deeply dissapointed to see him go, for the money Lotito will pay Bizzarri, he could surley affoard a pay rise to Ledesma. | |
